Elevate Your Solo Time Before Bed

Among the three shapes of the Tanzaku lamp, the twisted type illuminates the widest area. It can be used in various settings, such as for reading before bed, as a companion during your relaxation time.

With a built-in LED light and three dimming levels, a full charge allows for continuous use of approximately 15 hours at light level 1, 4 hours at light level 2, and 2 hours at light level 3 (until each light level drops to about half).

Portable, with Endless Uses

The Tanzaku Lamp has a built-in safe and compact lithium polymer battery and can be charged with the included USB cable.
It can be placed anywhere, regardless of whether an outlet is available.

Made with local beech wood, "Snow Beech"

Beech forest in Obiraki, Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture

The Tanzaku Lamp uses beech wood named "Snow Beech," which was designed by Professor Kamiya of Niigata University and milled by local forest owners' cooperatives and companies. Its purpose is to promote a century-long forest cycle and restore biodiversity.

Since beech wood was also used for light in traditional Japanese hearths (irori), we planned this table lamp as our first beech wood product. We designed it to evoke the beautiful shadows and tranquility found around a hearth.

How to Use

The internal battery is charged for testing. Please charge it before initial use.

How to Charge

Connect the lamp body and an AC adapter (please prepare separately) using the included USB cable to charge.

During charging, a red charging light illuminates at the base, and it blinks or turns off when charging is complete.

*Continuous use for extended periods while charging will accelerate battery depletion.

*Charging with a USB charging cable with an AC adapter that comes with smartphones or tablets is not possible, even if the plug shape is the same. Please use the included cable.

On/Off and Brightness Adjustment

The Tanzaku Lamp is designed for aesthetic beauty, even omitting a power symbol.

The area around the red charging light that glows when charging is the tap switch.
Each light touch switches between Light Level 1 (ON) / Light Level 2 / Light Level 3 / OFF.

How to Reset

If you experience issues such as the light level not changing, leave it on for 24 hours to completely discharge, then recharge. This will reset the device.

If the issue persists after attempting a reset, please contact the manufacturer.

• This product uses natural wood. Please avoid using it in high temperature and humidity environments as it may cause deformation.
• As this is a natural wood product, there may be differences in wood grain, color, and texture among products.
• Since it is a wooden product, strong impacts such as dropping may cause cracks or chips. Please handle with care.
