This wooden lamp, bent into a U-shape from beech wood, illuminates whatever is directly beneath it.

It can be used as a candle substitute in dimly lit rooms or outdoors after sunset. Since it only illuminates the tabletop and the light source is not visible, you can relax and enjoy quality time.

Lightweight and compact

The compact body, made of bent beech wood and equipped with an LED and a rechargeable battery, weighs just 170g. Most of this weight comes from the battery in the base, ensuring excellent stability.

Portable with endless uses

The Tanzaku lamp features a built-in, safe, and compact lithium polymer battery, and can be charged using the included USB cable.
It can be placed anywhere, regardless of outlet availability.

The included charging cable is USB Type-C.

The area around the lamp that glows red during charging is the touch switch.

With a built-in LED light and three-level dimming, a full charge allows for continuous use of approximately 15 hours at brightness level 1, 4 hours at level 2, and 2 hours at level 3 (time until each brightness level drops to about half).

Each light touch around the switch area changes the setting (pictured is the twisted type).

The Tanzaku lamp uses "Snow Beech," a beech wood sourced from Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, under a system designed by Professor Emeritus Kamiya of Niigata University and processed by local forest production cooperatives and companies. This initiative aims for a century-long forest cycle and the restoration of biodiversity.

How to Use

The built-in battery is charged for testing. Please charge it with the included cable before initial use.

How to Charge

Connect the lamp body and an AC adapter (please provide your own) using the included USB cable to charge.

During charging, a red charging light illuminates at the base; it blinks or turns off when charging is complete.

*Do not use continuously for long periods while charging. This will shorten battery life.

*USB charging cables with plugs included with smartphones or tablet devices cannot be used for charging, even if the connector shape is the same. Please use the included cable.

On/Off and Brightness Adjustment

The Tanzaku lamp, designed with a focus on aesthetic beauty, even omits a power symbol.

The area around the charging light, which glows red when charging, serves as the touch switch.
With each light touch, it cycles through brightness level 1 (ON) / level 2 / level 3 / OFF.

How to Reset

If there's an issue such as the brightness not switching, leave it on for 24 hours without charging to fully discharge, then recharge it. This will reset the device.

If the issue persists after attempting a reset, please contact the manufacturer.
