[Gifu] Hida Shunkei coaster (4 pieces)

A wooden coaster (set of 4) made using traditional techniques from Hida Takayama.

The design includes perpendicular slits to reduce the adhesion of water droplets to the bottom of the cup.

Locally produced cherry wood is used, and the finish is Hida Shunkei (lacquered), a traditional craft from Hida Takayama. As the years pass, the cherry wood grain becomes softer.

This is a work unique to Hida Takayama, where you can enjoy the beauty of lacquer and the warmth inherent in wood.
